I will start with one of my favorite little restaurants here:

Vista Grille 466 Port St Lucie blvd, Port St Lucie, FL (just west of the Bayshore bridge in the shopping center with Shin Digs)
This place has the best Greek food in the area. The food is hand made and delicious! They also have an awesome wine list and serve other food as well. They are priced comparably and the servers are clean and always smiling. If you haven't had a chance to enjoy this place yet.. Please do! Your mouth will love you!

Intro

This blog was created to highlight the awesome, the good, the bad and the ugly small businesses of Florida's Treasure Coast. I moved to this area 3 years ago. The advertising down here is not like I have seen before. I felt there needed to be a place for any small business to be showcased in a blog. "Season" here is from October or November to March or April. During this time there is a huge influx of people from all over the world(hundreds of thousands). The people from the northern US and Canada are called snow birds. They spend their winters down here to avoid the cold weather. There is an eclectic list of small businesses here to support everything from everyday locals to once in a lifetime tourists. I will be blogging about all the local businesses and welcome submissions from others. I would like this to be a community type blog where small businesses and those who love them have a voice. All submissions will be posted.
